Why I Created This
I didn’t set out to start a brand. I set out to save my own life.
After years of surviving trauma, navigating motherhood, and constantly trying to “get it together,” I realized I was always waiting for someone to permit me, to slow down, to dream, to choose myself without guilt.
That permission never came.
So I learned that I had to give myself that permission, to create it, live it, and eventually help other women realize they could too.
My Permission Slips was born from that place, part healing tool, part rebellion, part blueprint for women rebuilding themselves from the inside out.
I blended everything that helped me: trauma science, self-coaching, spiritual practice, and AI. I even went back to school to earn my degree in trauma and also began therapy, because no one should have to do this alone.
Why “Permission Slips”?
Why “Permission Slips” Matter (More Than a Metaphor)
In school, permission slips meant freedom. You couldn’t go on the trip without one. As women, especially survivors, we’ve been taught to wait, to earn rest, to prove our worth, to ask for space we already deserve.
MPS gives you back your agency.
Each ritual, journal prompt, and product is a personal permission slip, saying “You’re allowed.” To heal. To want more. To start over. To stop explaining. To thrive. Because when you give yourself permission, you stop waiting, and start rewriting.
